Anantnag: Bhartiya Janata Party Wednesday appealed the Rail authorities and police to withdraw cases against the youth who have been booked for blocking railway track during a protest in Sadoora village of South Kashmirs Anantnag district.
Pertinently, the train services in the valley were halted on Tuesday till late afternoon after protestors, demanding arrest of the culprits involved in abduction and murder case of a pregnant woman, blocked the railway track. On the instruction of Rail authorities, police registered cases against several youth.
BJP youth president for South Kashmir Tasaduq Hussain appealed the government to withdraw cases against the protestors as according to him these youth were unable to control their emotions and continuously blocked the track.
