Ganderbal, May 29 : District Ganderbal is going to be exuberant and full of religious fervour in the month of June as a number of local festivities like Mela Khir Bhawani and Urs Sharief of Hazrat Nizam-u-Din Kiyani (RA), in addition to Shri Amarnathji Yatra are coming up in this month.
In this connection, District Development Commissioner, Ganderbal, Sarmad Hafeez chaired a meeting here today to review the arrangements being made for all these events. He discussed, department wise, the facilities to be provided for the pilgrims and stressed upon the officers to be proactive and ensure that the pilgrims are provided the best possible facilities.
Training programme of Hajj Pilgrims of District Ganderbal which is to be held on 31th of May, 2014 at Physical College Ganderbal was also discussed in detail in the meeting. Additional Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal and Chief Medical Officer Ganderbal besides all District Officers were present in the meeting.
