Srinagar Army and police on Wednesday launched searches in a forest of Kupwara district in north Kashmir, official sources said.
They said that armys 6 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) and police conducted searches in Daril forests in Vilgam area of Handwara in the district following reports of presence of 2 to 3 militants.
However, the searches were called off at evening as no militant was found in the area, sources said.
