Srinagar: Father of Muhammad Salim Pandit, the J&K Bureau Chief of The Times of India, passed away here on Friday after a brief illness.
Hundreds of people from all walks of life participated in the Nimaz-e-Jinazah of Ghulam Mohammad Pandit, a former Assistant Information Officer (AIO), who breathed his last early Friday morning.
The Fateh-e-Khawani of the deceased, according to the family, would be held at Astanpora graveyard Qayoom Colony, Rawalpora, at 10:30 am on Sunday.
Thereafter, the condolence meeting shall be held at Alamdar Colony residence in Rawalpora near bridge.
