Srinagar: J&K Bank organised an awareness camp at Gutlibagh in Block Ganderbal in which a large number of people from different walks of life including senior citizens participated, a handout issued here said.
Executive Manager from Cluster Office, Ganderbal presided over the camp conducted by B.U Nunner in collaboration with Cluster Office. Besides FLCC Facilitator FLCC Ganderbal, officials from Agriculture Deptt, Head B.U. Nunner and other officials from Cluster Office also attended the camp.
Executive Manager urged the participants to avail benefits of the banks various schemes and assured the audience of every possible support for the economic upliftment of the area.
Officers from the Cluster Office made a detailed presentation of Banks products and services. The participants were informed that KCC, ACC and other government sponsored schemes with lower rate of interest were being provided without third party guarantee. They were also apprised about Seed Capital Fund Scheme, which has been designed particularly for educated unemployed youth of the state under SKEWPY.
The interaction was followed by question answer session during which officials from Bank, agriculture Deptt. and facilitator FLCC replied to the queries of the audience.
The participants appreciated the Bank for conducting such kind of awareness programmes.
Meanwhile, the banks B.U Gund Hassi Bhat convened a customer advisory forum meeting besides loan mela.
Hosted by Head B.U the meeting was chaired by Cluster Head Kashmir Central Cluster II.
Customers expressed their gratitude towards the bank and appreciated the staff for their cooperation and personal touch during the transactions.
Speaking on the occasion, Cluster Head informed the customers regarding various schemes and urged them to avail products like ACC, KCC and other employment generating schemes like Seed Capital Fund Scheme under SKEWPY.
He also shed light on facilities like ATM, e-Banking, SMS banking etc and asked customers to make use of such facilities for their convenience.
Building a positive rapport with the customers the cluster head along with Head B.U sanctioned loans on the spot to the eligible customers.
Meanwhile, the banks business unit Mujigund conducted an awareness camp which was attended by the people from Mujigund, Check Mujigund, Panzinara, Bakshipora, Tengpora Noor Bagh, Rambairgarh, Khoja Bagh Maloora and Takenwari Srinagar.
Cluster Head (II) presided over the camp in which Lead Bank Officer, Agriculture Officer, representatives from animal husbandry, sheep husbandry and handicrafts department were also present.
