TEHRAN: An Iranian military commander has highlighted the full preparedness of Irans Armed Forces, warning that the Islamic Republic will give a crushing response to any military aggression.
The Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran will never be caught unawares, and should the enemy want to act on the immature fantasy of aggression, it will face a crushing and lethal response by the Armed forces, Commander of the Iranian Armys Ground Forces Brigadier General Ahmad-Reza Pourdastan said on Thursday.
Today, we are facing new threats that are different from [those in] the past in terms of type, shape and size, based on which Irans defense doctrine is defined, said the Iranian commander.
Pourdastan said that Iranian intelligence experts are monitoring the movements of the enemy at the borders, across the region and beyond the region.
In recent years, Iran has secured great accomplishments in its defense sector and attained self-sufficiency in producing essential military equipment and systems.
The Islamic Republic has repeatedly said its military might poses no threat to other countries, reiterating that its defense doctrine is based on deterrence.
ISRAEL DREADS: The Israeli regime does not dare to launch a military attack against Iran as Tel Aviv is truly terrified of the Iranian military response, says an IRGC official.
Head of the Public Relations Department of Irans Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Brigadier General Ramezan Sharif said on Thursday that the reason why the Israeli regime is not taking any military measure against Iran is that it is really afraid of Irans counterattack.
