Srinagar: A tractor driver lost his life when due to windstorm a tree fell on his tractor in South Kashmirs Shopian district. Police identified the deceased as Shahnawaz Ahmad Khanday son of Ghulam Hassan resident of Karewa Manloo, Shopian.
Meanwhile, a school bus bearing registration number JK09-8248 hit and injured two boys Wahid Firdous Wani son of Firdous Ahmad Wani and Momin Manzoor son of Manzoor Ahmad Sheikh residents of Chotipora, Handwara at Chotipora, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Handwara. Wahid Firdous died on spot while Momin Manzoor was shifted to hospital for treatment. Police has registered a case in this regard.
