Srinagar,: Dr Karan Singh Wednesday visited Kheer Bhawani and Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) and interacted with a number of eminent Kashmiri intellectuals.
Dr Karan Singh who is also the chairman and Trustee of Dharmarth Trust expressed satisfaction after observing the improvements carried out by the Trust over the last year at Kheer Bhawani temple.
Singh also visited ICCR Cultural Centre at Kral Sangri, where he was received by Director of the Centre, Dr Aiyaz Rasool Nazki. He interacted with a number of eminent Kashmiri intellectuals including veteran Sufi author, Dr Fida Hussain, Prof ghulam Nabi Khayal, Prof Shafi Shouq and Prof Neerja Matoo. They stressed the importance of keeping up a dialogue of cultural and artistic themes to which Kashmir has made such a remarkable contribution over the century.
