BARAMULA: Chief Electoral Officer, Umang Narula and Inspector General, Kashmir zone, A. G. Mir today visited the counting centre at Government Boys Degree College, Baramulla and took stock of the arrangements made for smooth conduct of counting of votes on May 16, 2014.
The CEO and IG visited the strong room where the EVMs have been kept. They also visited the counting halls and expressed satisfaction over the arrangements made for the purpose.
Election Observers, Murali Krishna and Pravesh Kumar were present on the occasion.
Earlier, the Deputy Commissioner, Baramulla, Dr. Farooq Ahmad Lone briefed the CEO about the arrangements put in place for the counting of votes on May 16, 2014. (GNS)
