HANDWARA: Peoples Democratic Party senior leader Muzafar Hussain Beigh Tuesday claimed that the militant outfits like Hizb and Lashkar Toiba cant kill village headmen and Sarpanchas, stating that it was the handiwork of a political party.
Adessing an election rally at Kulingam Handwara in North Kashmir, Beigh said that if militants would carry out their attacks, they will target top political leaders and not minnows. A political party carries out such attacks to make election boycott call of Hurriyat Conference successful, Beigh said adding that boycott is always in the interest of National Conference.
NC would wipe out from the political map of the Jammu and Kashmir if people would come out to vote in large numbers. NC knows its well that its success is hidden in election boycott. Hurriyat extends the boycott call and on ground it is implemented by National Conference in letter and spirit by terrorizing people, Beigh said. (CNS)
