SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Police today lodged a first information report (FIR) against Hurriyat Conference (G) Chairman Syed Ali Geelani for his anti-national speech during a press conference on Friday.
The FIR, number 70/2014 under section 13 Unlawful activities Act has been lodged at the Budgam Police Station today, sources said.
Police said Geelani has been booked under the unlawful act for delivering an anti-India speech during his address to reporters on Friday.
They said his statements are also proactive and ant-national.
Several FIRs have been lodged against Geelani in the past also for anti-India speech.
