SRINAGAR: Police Monday refuted news reports that police has named the slain youth of Shahgund Farhat Ahmed Dar in its FIR.
Deputy Inspector General of Police, North Kashmir Range, Ghulam Hassan Bhat said that few people with nefarious designs floated this rumour that police has named slain youth in its FIR vide order 61/2014. Police wants to clear this that nowhere his named has been mentioned in the FIR.
Meanwhile, the investigation commission headed by Additional Deputy Commissioner Bandipore, Nazir Ahmed Baba which is investigating the circumstances in which Farhat Ahmad Dar was killed Monday formally started the investigation by recorded the statements of few witnesses.
