BUDGAM: In a meeting in district Budgam held by Deputy Commissioner Budgam, Mr. Khurshid Ahmed Shah, various arrangements for observance of spring festival of Navroz were reviewed.
Assistant Director, Consumer Affairs & Public Distribution was directed to ensure availability of food grains at all ration depots whereas Assistant Regional Transport Officer Budgam was instructed to keep smooth and easy public transport available for the people of district.
Assistant Director Fisheries informed the meeting that special sale of trout and carp fishes shall take place at sale counters Beerwah, Khag, Khansahib and Budgam town.
Executive Engineer Power Development Department and Public Health Engineering were directed to ensure smooth supply of electricity and drinking water to the rural habitations of Budgam district.
Assistant District Development Commissioner, Additional Deputy Commissioner Budgam, Assistant Director Consumer Affairs & Public Distribution, Assistant Regional Transport Officer, concerned engineering heads were present in the meeting.
