Srinagar: The Urban Local Bodies’ employees Monday announced that they would take to streets on January 2 with brooms and spades against the failure of the Government in releasing their salaries from past three months.
The Employees of ULB are on strike from past three days as a result the work has been hit in all but 46 Municipality Committee Councils of Kashmir Valley.
Manzoor Ahmad Pampori, President, Jammu and Kashmir Urban Local Bodies Employees United Forum (JKULBEUF) told CNS that that employees of 45 Municipal Committees and Councils of the Kashmir valley would take to streets on January 2 with brooms and spades.
He said strong protests would be raised against the Government adding that even the officers of the ULB are without salaries from past three months.
