SRINAGAR: Stressing upon intellectuals, lawyers and students to safeguard the historical and political identity of Kashmir, Hurriyat Conference (M) Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq said they should also actively play their role in dealing with issues concerning Kashmir on social, economic, and cultural level.
Lawyers from Srinagar including Advocate Aijaz, Advocate Shahid Rashid, Advocate Bilal, AdvocateTabasum, Advocate Adfar, Advocate Tawseef Shah, Advocate Muneeb, and Advocate Murtaza called upon APHC Chairman at hurriyat headquarters at Rajbah. Senior hurriyat leaders including media advisor advocate Shahid-ul-Islam and legal cell head of hurriyat Abdul manan Bukhari were also present on the occasion.
Meeting with the lawyers, Mirwaiz stressed upon them that the role of educated youth in the current politics was immense as they were the one who would decide the course of their political future. While discussing with them current freedom struggle and current political issues, APHC Chairman asked the young lawyers to play their role dutifully towards the issues concerning Kashmir.
