SRINAGAR: The bail application of Mushtaq Ahmad Pir former chairman of Board of Professional Entrance Examination (BOPEE) and the main accused in Common Entrance Test (CET)-2012 paper leak scam was rejected by an anti corruption court here on Tuesday.
Peer is presently lodged in central jail Srinagar on police remand. The scam was unearthed by the crime branch recently and after some complaints poured in from the aggrieved candidates who could not make it to CET selection list 2012.
Pertinently, the High Court has asked for the property details of Peer. And his defense lawyer is scheduled to argue his bail matter before the anti corruption court on Monday where his main arguments will focus on the Crime Branchs jurisdiction to investigate such matter.
