PULWAMA: On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Pulwama, a team of officers including General Manager District Industries Centre, Assistant Labour Commissioner, Tehsildar Pulwama and District officer Pollution Control Board headed by Assistant Commissioner Revenue Pulwama Dr. Shah Feisal today closed eight brick kilns illegally operating in Yader Shahoora area of district Pulwama.
A fine of Rs. 5 lakh was also imposed on spot upon the illegal brick kiln owners. The district administration has resolved to continue with this exercise in future also and strict direction have been given to all revenue officers to ensure that brick kiln operators strictly adhere to brick kiln act 2010.
