SRINAGAR: Pakistan High Commission in India has invited separatist leaders for a meeting in New Delhi with Sartaj Aziz, Pakistan Prime Ministers Adviser on National Security and Foreign Affairs, on Sunday.
Confirming this JKLF Chairman Mohammad Yasin Malik said that he has been invited to meet Aziz who is scheduled to reach India on Sunday. I am scheduled to meet him at 6:30 pm on Sunday, Malik said.
Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, chairman Hurriyat Conference (M) and Syed Ali Geelani, chairman Hurriyat Conference (G) have also been invited to Pakistan High Commission to meet Aziz.
I received a call from Pakistan deputy high commissioner Mansoor Ahmad Khan from Delhi inviting me to meet Sartaj Aziz. I am planning to meet him on Sunday, confirmed Mirwaiz Umar Farooq.
Ayaz Akbar, the spokesman of Hurriyat (G) also confirmed Pakistan high commissions invitation to Hurriyat (G) chairman.
Aziz is arriving in Delhi to attend two-day conference Asia-Europe foreign ministers meeting on November 10. The Pakistan Prime Ministers Adviser on National Security and Foreign Affairs may also meet Indian External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid on the sidelines of the two day conference, sources in central government told KNS.
