SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir High Court after receiving complaints of corruption against Munsif, Javeed Ahmed Naik has placed him under suspension vide order number 566 with immediate effect.
According to the Office of the Registrar General, High Court of Jammu and Kashmir, Registrar Vigilance High Court has submitted an enquiry report in respect of complaint made by one Bashir Ahmed Khandey, wherein serious allegations of corrupt practices and causing great loss to the State exchequer by evading stamp duty, have been made against Javeed Ahmed Naik, the then Sub-Registrar/Munsif, Pulwama, presently 1st Additional Munsif Srinagar.
High Court has said that after going through the enquiry report the integrity of the officer has been doubted.
The High Court order dully signed by Registrar General Suresh Kumar Sharma reads that Munsif Javeed Ahmed Naik is placed under suspension with immediate effect and he shall remain attached with Registrar Judicial, High Court of Jammu and Kashmir, Srinagar Wing, during his suspension period.
