SRINAGAR: Secretary, Floriculture and Public Enterprises Mr. Sanjeev Verma accompanied by senior officers of Floriculture Department visited Tulip Garden Cheshmashahi and Mughal Gardens and took stock of the pace of activities being carried out for developing infrastructural amenities in these gardens for the facility of the visitors.
After receiving brief account of the activities being carried out in these gardens and arrangements made for procurement of Tulip bulbs and other allied material for the Tulip garden, the Secretary asked the concerned for putting all possible efforts in place for making the World famous and Asias largest Tulip garden more presentable and attractive for the visitors.
During the visit to Mughal Gardens, the Secretary directed for carrying out developmental activities especially in civil works in consultation with INTACH, J&K Chapter so that its pristine glory is maintained.
The Secretary also impressed upon the concerned to work with added zeal and zest and make all out efforts for better upkeep of all the gardens and parks including the Tulip Garden.
