SRINAGAR: In view of forthcoming Eid-ul-Azha, Traffic Police has made elaborate traffic movement plan for all Eidgahs and main Mosques of Srinagar especially Dargah Sharief Hazratbal, Jamia Masjid, Eidgah, TRC, and Sonwar.
In the city Srinagar, no passenger vehicle shall be allowed to ply on Residency Road from Radio Kashmir upto HSHS on one side and along MA Road from SRTC crossing to Jahangir Chowk on the other side except Emergency cases and on duty vehicles. Restrictions shall remain in force with effect from October 13, 2013 till Eid prayers.
People have been asked to strictly utilize parking places in the city and roadside parking. Similarly elaborate traffic deployment has been made in rural areas including all district headquarters to ensure that people do not face any difficulty in offering prayers.
The traffic Department has also made adequate measures for movement of vehicles on National Highway on the eve of Darbar move.
