Srinagar: In continuation with its anti encroachment drive, the enforcement wing of the corporation conducted a special drive at Baghat Barzulla on the instructions of Commissioner SMC Dr Qasba.
All the goods and articles were seized from the shopkeepers who have been regularly alarmed not to display their items on the road side spaces.
Also the hotel Pride In owned by Sheikh Manzoor Ahmed was sealed down during the drive. The owner who has illegally constructed and thrown open gate towards bund has further been asked to produce documents after sealing the same.
Mean while the proprietor of hotel diamond has been served with the notice for producing permission and other necessary documents before the concerned ward officer within three days also warning him along with his shopkeepers to restrain from displaying any sort of goods outside the shops.
