SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government ordered suspension of 46 government teachers of various schools in Jammu for their unauthorized absence from duty.
Director school education Jammu Saru Baghat said that a team of officers headed by Joint Director Secondary education inspected various government schools in Jammu and found 46 teachers absent. The officers later placed all the 46 teachers under suspension.
At Government Higher Secondary School (Migrant) Jagti, the inspection team suspended 39 staff members, including the Principal as only 7 of the total forty officials were present.
Similarly, at Government Middle School Jagti, 5 out of total 9 staff members were found absent from the duty and were placed under suspension, while 2 suspended at Government Higher Secondary School Channi Himmat, he said.
