SRINAGAR: Four members of a family, including three women, died on the spot when a vehicle in which they were travelling in skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge at Ramban on Srinagar-Jammu highway on Friday.
A police official said that an Maruti-Alto car bearing registration number JK02AM-7308 on way from Jammu to Srinagar overturned and fell down into deep gorge near Marogh in Ramban district today afternoon resulting in on spot death of 4 persons.
The official identified the deceased as Head Constable of JKAP Parvinder Singh, his wife Sitender Kour, residents of Ghawan, Baramulla, Sulendar Kour wife of Nagender Pal Singh of Dushmesh Nagar Digyana and Rambir Kour wife of Sanjeet Singh of Nanak Nagar Jammu.
Meanwhile, Police has registered a case and started further investigations in this regard.
