A plurality of public have opinion that younger age bracket are having toughest time in the current economy. With the contemporary state of affairs, the ailing economy, the rising inflation, the free-falling currency and the political instability in quite a few states, the nation has very less offering to the youth. They stumble on and find the economic indicator to hard-hitting on them. Upon them the scams, gotals of our so called the representatives and corruption is totting up to the wretchedness of the generation who are full of optimistic thoughts.
Large majorities of the public say its harder for young adults to reach many of the basic financial goals their parents may have taken for granted. Eight-in-ten (82%) say finding a job is harder for young adults today than it was for their parent generation. Although market show a decline in the Nations unemployment rate from 9.4% in 2010 to 3.80% in 2011but still the numbers of unemployed are colossal. The financial burdens halt the optimism of the youth and every passing day takes away much of the finances in the form of employment form fees and other miscellaneous expenses. In order to apply for a sheer class-Iv post in Govt offices the applicants are required to deposit huge amount of money as application fee. Which leaves several groups in kaput as they hardly can afford it. Imagine a handful of posts with a fee of Rs 500 per application and thousands of applicants. It only adds up to the deposits of so called recruiting agencies and befools the general public. The trend seems to be not for eradication of unemployment but rather for the financial assistance of the respective department. Accept it as true that when a certain Department is lacking funds, they have found a new style of having free funds by the advertisement of few posts in the said department lacerating the jobless with high application fees. Recently an organisation finished recruitment of some 1300 vacancies where almost 30000 people appeared for written exam and every applicant paid 500INR as fees. The 1.5cr crore of money had hardly10-15lakh of expenditure and rest add up to the accounts of the recruiters. Leave aside enthuse of having a selection letter; the applicants get psychologically besieged in the very start of the route by these high application fees and sundry expenses. How fishy does it smells when the hard earned money of a sincere individual lands in the accounts of the other-side. Imagine the quandary of an applicant managing a 500 hundred rupee note when his income hasnt yet took-off, who is still repaying his Educational finances. This budges the view of a layman from purge of redundancy towards bogus strategies of agencies and the Govt.
Even if the candidate progresses to the 2nd tier irrespective of the financial and personal burdens that slash his back. The trend of sleaze in the current setting shakes his belief irrespective of being highly qualified and skilled. Being a job-fit person has no relevance in the current state of affairs as it will never fetch a job unless you are a blue-eyed candidate. The final draft is primed on the basis of how influential you are in the society. A phone call from high-ranked official or a Representative of the state can shape or shake your future prospect. If you thrive in mounting their account balance then you can be able to make your dreams come true otherwise the chances are very rare. A deceitful influential person can do it for his concern, but again the one who still bends his back for repayment of his sons education loan can never afford to pay high sweetener to fulfil the dreams of his beloved children. This site eggs-on the approach that Makes rich richer and poor poorer. Still the applicants hang on to the hope and faith until the list is made public which has favouritism for the blue-eyed ones and the lay-men are again routed towards the gooey cycle of recruitment. This cycle of so called staffing is never-ending and has trapped a majority of the youth in it. Besides they have no alternative choice other than being an entrepreneur. Which even is doubtful until and unless your papers move parallel with the bundle of Currency under the table for incorporation in the concerned office.
In this murky state of affairs when life is too hard for common populace this route to employ the jobless is adding to their gloom. This will impede the aptitude and ebb the talent-gloss of the youth. Let it be as simple as it was in the past, an application on the plain paper in the concerned department with level-headed fee. What is the point in paying to the officers if they work once in a year an extra day for the selection process, they are paid their regular salary and for the sake of the being socially responsible they can handle the affairs for a day atleast? Govt needs to set-up a portico system atleast in every single tehsil where every single application can be processed for the recruitment. This will generate employment and decrease the sundry expenses of the applicants who hardly have any avenue of income. Although we have agencies for recruitment but they seem to be crawling, where it takes about almost a day for just having a hall-ticket for recruitment exam. In this networking era an office in every single tehsil can route applicants form to main office and generate necessary documents that will do good to both the applicants and the agencies. The process of recruitment can catch pace and save time and money. Beside this a transparent system in the 2nd layer i.e. in interview mode like the installation of cameras, presence of officials of anti-corruption Dept, publicising the scores of the test to the candidate. These steps can eliminate the ills like favouritism and corruption in the system to some extent. Moreover the anti-corruption laws should be adopted strictly to make yardsticks for the ones who are directly or indirectly involved in the social evil of bribery. Awareness can create wonders in the society and pave way to concord and contentment.
Tailpiece: Lets keep our hope ticking.
To be able to crawl in the times when walk seems improbable is the eye-opener for the one who dooms to be failure and gizmo of sanguine.
