SRINAGAR Terming the allegations baseless that three Kashmiri students were targeted by a mob in riot hit Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh police Tuesday said that it was only a rumour which was being spread by hate mongers.
The situation is that Muzaffarnagar is on the track. Curfew has been relaxed and there is no truth in the news that three Kashmiri students were attacked by rioters here, ADGP, Law and Order UP, Arun Kumar told CNS on phone.
He said police has sealed all the railway stations and tracks and, how come it is possible for rioters to identify Kashmiri students and thrash them. Kumar said. (CNS)
