SRINAGAR: Junaid Azim Mattu, has resigned from the post of spokesperson Peoples Conference led by Sajad Gani Lone, and has also announced his exit from the party along with his workers from Amira Kadal constituency stating irreconcilable differences with the party leadership.
Along with Junaid Azim Mattu, PC Srinagar District President and leader from Zadibal Constituency Syed Owais Qadri, PC Bandipore District President Tanveer Dar and PC Batmaloo Zonal President Zaffar Hussain Shah have also announced their departure from Peoples Conference along with their workers and supporters, according to an emailed statement.
Stating that the announcement to quit the party has come after lengthy deliberations between the leaders and workers who have quit PC, Junaid Mattu said that the future course of action would be decided collectively in due course of time and announced accordingly.
