Tral: In a tragic incident, a woman and her 16 years old daughter were buried alive when their house collapsed during wee hours Friday in Zarihad village in south Kashmirs Tral township. Four members of the family were also injured in the incident.
Reports said that the house of Mohammad Yousf Gojar collapsed during wee hours of Friday as the incessant rains had damaged the foundation of the dilapidated house.
Residents said that during the time of collapse six members of the family were present in the house. Four were injured while two were killed on spot.
The deceased were identified as 38-year-old Zarina Bano and her daughter Bilquees Ara. Police sources said that four members of the family who were injured in the incident were shifted to Sub District Hospital Tral. They have been identified as Mohammad Yousf Gojar (42) Zamrooda Bano (13), Shakela Bano (8) and Ashiq Ahmed (11).
District administration officials headed by Naib Tehsildar Tral Mohammad Youns Bangroo visited the spot and took stock of the situation. The officials later on visited the hospital and enquired about the condition of the injured people.
