Srinagar: In order to review achievements under Annual District Credit Plan, J&K Bank, in the capacity of convener, conducted District Level Review Committee meets in Bandipora and Baramulla.
Lead Bank Office Bandipora conducted DLRC meeting of District Bandipora today to review achievements under Annual District Credit Plan 2013-14 for the quarter ended June 2013. The meeting held under the chairmanship of M Y Zargar, District Development Commissioner, was attended by Jagdish Lal AGM RBI, Shahzad Ahamd Teli Cluster Head J&K Bank North, Zonal Head of other Banks and District Heads of Line Departments.
Lead District Manager Bandipora informed the house that against the target of167.67 Crore, banks have disbursed 34.78 Crore thus achieving 20.74% as on30.06.2013 under District Credit Plan 2013-14.
The house was informed that 21% of the targets under priority sector of District Credit Plan have been achieved as on 30.06.2013. He informed the House that J&K Bank disbursed an amount of 25.84Cr against the target of 68.74Cr.
Speaking on the occasion DDC advised all the banks and the sponsoring agencies to work with cooperation, coordination and cohesion to achieve the goals and targets of development, progress and eradication of unemployment
Meanwhile, Lead Bank Office Baramulla conducted DLRC Meeting of District Baramulla on August 1 to review achievements under Annual District Credit Plan 2013-14 under the Chairmanship of District Development Commissioner Baramulla.
Lead District Manager, Baramulla informed the house that a credit of Rs.111.39 crores had been disbursed in the first three months of the current fiscal against the annual target of Rs.473.43 crores to Agriculture sector. Likewise against an annual target of Rs.255.65, the achievement for the first quarter stands at Rs.45.80 crores. Besides, in the services sector Rs.23.99 crores have been disbursed during the same period against the target of Rs.105.29 crores.
It was further informed that under District Credit Plan 2013-14, District has recorded an aggregate achievement of 21.71% as on June 30, 2013. Lead District Manager also informed the house that 9212 beneficiaries were benefited under District Credit Plan 2013-14 and an amount of Rs.181.18 Crore was disbursed among them under various schemes.
