CAIRO: Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood says at least 2,200 people have been killed and 10,000 others injured in the crackdown by the security forces on protest sit-ins held by the supporters of ousted President Mohamed Morsi today.
The Brotherhood said the figure was provided by Raba’a hospital.
Meanwhile, Muslim Brotherhood leaders have urged the Egyptians to take into the streets in order to show their protest against the recent massacre.
