ANANTNAG: On the directions of Deputy Commissioner, Anantnag, the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Anantnag accompanied by Chief Planning Officer paid surprise inspection of various offices in the District today to check the attendance of the staff and found 27 Officers and officials absent from duty.
The Officers/ Officials from Horticulture, Tehsildar settlement Anantnag ARTO, Flood control Div. Anantnag, Fisheries, Education, SC/ST/OBC and Sheep Husbandry Department Anantnag were found absent. Disciplinary action as warranted under rules is being initiated against the said absent Officers/ Officials.
The drive to check the attendance of Officers and Officials in the District shall continue in future also to ensure punctuality of Officials so that the public at large does not face inconvenience for want of effective delivery of services.
