Jammu: Jammu-Pathankote bound train met with an accident in Samba district on Friday. However, no one was hurt in the incident, a police officer said.
The bogey of Jammu-bound Himkund Express overturned when a wheel of the engine got detached on the railway track in Raipur area of Samba district around 4:30 am today, he said.
Technical staff was rushed to the spot to repair the fault and traffic on the rail route resumed at around 9:30 am, he said.
Panic gripped among the passengers who had witnessed the train accident.
Meanwhile railway authorities have ordered a probe to inquire the cause of derailment.
