BUDGAM: A meeting to review arrangements for smooth celebration of Holy days like Shab-i-Qadr, Jumat-ul-Vida and Eid-ul-Fitr was held under the Chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Budgam, Mr. Khursheed Ahmad Shah at district headquarter here today.
All concerned district officers participated in the meeting.
Assistant Director CA&PD was asked to ensure the availability of essentials including rice, atta, sugar and kerosene oil while as Executive Engineer Power Development department was instructed to ensure uninterrupted power supply on the Holy days especially during Shab-i-Qadr.
Municipal Committee, Budgam was instructed to ensure sanitation of public spaces, especially around mosques.
Executive Engineer PHE was directed to ensure regular supply of potable drinking water to the areas. Market Checking Squads were directed to continue market inspections to ensure quality food items at reasonable prices to the consumers of the district, especially in view of Eid-ul-Fitr.
