Srinagar: Launching a counter attack on Peoples Democratic Party president Mehbooba Mufti, ruling National Conference (NC) Thursday alleged that PDP have always been indulging in politics of defeat and use various issues to instigate political turmoil and instability in Jammu and Kashmir for their interests.
Mehbooba Mufti and other leaders of PDP have always been responsible for sabotaging the democratic process and hatchingconspiracies to weaken the democratic institutions, NCs provincial president Nasir Aslam Wani said.
Before levelling baseless allegations, Mehbooba should know that it was her father Mufti Muhammad Sayeed who, during his tenure, brought Armed Forces Special Power Act (AFSPA) which became a cause of miseries for the people of state, he alleged.
Mehbooba had on Wednesday said that NC was responsible for prevailing uncertainty in Jammu and Kashmir and Omar Abdullah has failed in discharging his duties.
Reacting to the allegations, Nasir said, PDP has always blackmailed Kashmiris emotionally but now when they feel defeat and rejection by people they are issuing baseless statements.
PDP always used youth as fodder for their narrow politics but the youth of the state have seen dirty politics of PDP and want to remove their existence, he claimed. Omar Abdullah is not like Mufti who is man of Delhi. Omar has taken a stand for which he is fighting.
