Srinagar: International medical organization Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors without Borders) (MSF) has opened a new mental health counseling centre in the Sub District Hospital in Pattan. MSF has been working in the Kashmir valley since 2001 and runs mental health programme in Srinagar, Baramulla and Sopore.
Speaking about the centre, Luis Ponte, Project Coordinator, MSF told CNS that they are happy to bring mental health services for residents of Pattan, and hope that more and more people come forward and avail our services to lead a stress-free and better life. The centre will be open from 10 am to 4pm on Wednesday and Thursday.
He said that all MSF services are free of cost We would like to express our gratitude to Deputy Commissioner Baramulla; Chief Medical Officer, Baramulla and Block Medical Officer Pattan for their continued support.
