Srinagar: The State cabinet which met under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Wednesday constituted a Sub-Committee to be headed by Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand to examine the modalities for the implementation of the Mushtaq Ganaie Committee Report regarding the demands for the creation of new administrative units and to take on board any fresh demand on this account.
The other Members of the Sub Committee include Minister for Urban Development and Urban Local Bodies, Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, Minister for Agricultural Production, Minister for Higher Education, Minister for Planning and Development and Labour and Employment, and Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs.
The Cabinet also approved appointment of Patwaries against the available vacancies, out of the candidates selected through written examination for undergoing Patwar training and who have successfully qualified from the respective Government Revenue Training Institutes, according to KNS.
It was also decided that the Patwar trainees who do not qualify the Revenue Training in the first attempt shall be given a second chance to qualify and upon doing so shall be appointed as Patwaries.
The Cabinet also accorded sanction to the Promulgation of Jammu and Kashmir Para-Medical Council Ordinance 2013 regarding the training institute of Paramedics.
The Cabinet approved regularization of Dr. J.P.Sharma w.e.f from 2.6.2009-31.1.2010, Dr. R.L.Kher w.e.f 2.6.2009-31.1.2011, Dr. M.L. Sharma w.e.f 29.1.2010-30.6.2010, Dr.Bashir Ahmed War w.e.f 1.2.2010-30.11.2010, Dr. G.S. Sudan w.e.f 1.7.2010-30.4.2012, Dr. B.R. Kotwal w.e.f 1.2.2011-31.1.2012, and Dr.A.K. Koul w.e.f 1.2.2012-31.7.2012 as Directors Sheep Husbandry Department Jammu and Kashmir and Managing Directors Sheep and Sheep Products Development Board.
The Cabinet also approved placement of incharge Superintending Engineers (Electric) as incharge Chief Engineers (Electric) in PDD. These are Mrs. Girja Koul, Manmohan Singh, Ravi Kumar Chanyal, Khurshid Ahmed Budoo, B.A.Khan and Subash Chander
