SRINAGAR: All Kashmir University examinations and entrance exam which were scheduled for July 20th (Saturday) have been postponed.
In a handout issued today a KU spokesman said that the entrance examination for LLB integrated programme (BA-LLB) scheduled to be held on 20th July 2013 Saturday is also postponed and will now be held on Tuesday, 23th July at 3pm in the University Campus.
It is notified for the information of all concerned that the interview for the post of Field Assistant (for Landscaping) available in North Campus, Baramulla and South Campus, Anantnag which was scheduled to be held on 20-07-2013 has been postponed and fresh date for the purpose shall be notified separately, the KU spokesman added.
The examinations have been postponed due to the curfew in Valley following death of six people in BSF firing in Ramban district in South Kashmir.
Meanwhile Central University of Kashmir also announced postponment of all examinations scheduled to be held on 20th July Saturday. Fresh dates will be notified separately, a CUK spokesman said.
Earlier KU and the CUK cancelled all the examinations which were scheduled to be held on Friday, July 19 2013.
