SRINAGAR: The sports festival at Islamia College of Science & Commerce concluded with the finals of Inter-Group Cricket tournament, which was played between ICS Greens v/s ICS Whites. After winning the toss ICS Whites elected to bat first and scored 104 Runs in 16 overs. Abid scored 22 Runs for his team in 39 deliveries. For Greens group Ubair took 04 wickets and Qazi Rubaan, Asif & Amir took 02 wickets each.
Chasing a modest target of 105 Runs ICS Greens achieved the target in 18 overs with the loss of 02 wickets, Scoring 106 Runs, Amir scored 50 Runs in 66 deliveries & Rayees scored 27 Runs in 48 deliveries. Abrar took both the wickets for ICS Whites. The ICS Greens won the match by 08 wickets.
Principal Prof. (Dr.) Tariq Ahmad Kawoos, gave away the prizes at the end of the match. Principal of the college congratulated college players for utilizing all the sports facilities which he termed the best in the state. He also congratulated the Department of Physical Education for organizing Inter-Group Sports Festival.
