Srinagar: Upholding the shutdown call given by Hurriyat Conference Chairman Syed Ali Shah Geelani Muslim League Jammu Kashmir has appealed the people to strengthen the ongoing movement by following the programs with full dedication.
Muslim League General Secretary Abdul Ahad Parra while presiding over the meeting held today paid glowing tributes to martyrs of July 13, 1931 and said the ongoing freedom movement will continue till the goal is achieved.
During the meeting the party while terming Pakistan as well wisher of Kashmiris hoped that newly elected Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif will resolve the long pending dispute as per UN resolutions and will continue its moral and diplomatic support to Kashmiris.
The party also condemned the violation of human rights in Kashmir by the hands of Indian Armed forces and termed India as the main impediment in resolving the Kashmir dispute, Muslim League Press Secretary Master Nazir Ahmad said.
