SRINAGAR: The main opposition party Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has suffered a major jolt as its 49 workers today joined the National Conference at DH Pora in north Kashmir in presence of Minister for Social Welfare, Sakina Itoo.
As per a statement these workers joined the ruling National Conference party during the public meetings held at villages Manzgam and Chekiwatoo of Block DH Pora Noorabad Constituency here today, which were addressed by the Minister.
The newly joined workers also addressed the gathering and said that they have full faith in the leadership of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and local MLA and Social Welfare Minister, Sakina Ittoo and they have joined the NC after inspired by the development scenario of the government. They assured that they will work hard for strengthening the party in the area.
