Kishtwar: Sessions Judge Kishtwar did not pass any judgment in slap gate case on Thursday and listed the case for final arguments on July 20. Pertinently, Minister of State for Home Sajjad Ahmed Kitchloo had allegedly slapped the Chief Executive Officer Kishtwar Development Authority, Reyaz Ahmed Chodri after which the said officer had approached the court against the Minister. The Court had expressed anguish over the incident of manhandling of one of the senior officers of the service by a Minister of State and had directed the Police to register an FIR against the accused.
The Home Department had filed a revision petition before the Sessions Judge Kishtwar against the order passed by CJM Court, which had directed for registration of formal case against the Minister.
Talking to CNS the Counsel for complainant, Advocate Zulqernain Shiekh said that he and Chief Prosecuting Officer put their arguments forward on the criminal revision petition filed by the Home Department seeking nullification and stay on the verdict given by CJM Kishtwar Ajay Kumar Gupta.
The Court after hearing the arguments did not pass any judgment and listed the case for final arguments on July 20, he said.
