Srinagar: The Committee on Privileges of Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly has dropped breach of privilege notice against Director Health Service Kashmir given by MLA,. Rafi Ahmad Mir.
This decision was taken in a Privilege Committee meeting chaired by MLA, Mohammad Irfan Shah here today.
The meeting was attended by the Legislators, Mushtaq Ahmad Shah, Peer Afaq Ahmad, Aijaz Ahmad Jan and Abdul Razaq Wagay besides senior officers of Assembly Secretariat.
Earlier, Director Health Services tendered written and unconditional apology with the remarks that such things will not be repeated in future on his part. Satisfied with the reply, the Committee decided to drop the privilege notice against him.
Threadbare discussion was also held on the breach of privilege against Chief Education Officer, Kupwara given by MLA, Er. Abdul Rashid.
