Srinagar: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, who is on a two day visit to the valley is scheduled to meet the state cabinet here this evening.
According to official sources, apart from ministers in the state cabinet, various Members of Legisative Assembly and the Legislative Council will also be meeting the Prime Minister at the Nehru Guest House here this evening.
Meanwhile, sources said the Prime Minister will meet at least 20 delegations from various political and social formations.
Prominent among those who are set to meet the PM include a delegation headed by Agriculature Minister Ghulam Hassan Mir. CPI(M) State Secretary M Y Tarigami will also call upon the Prime Minister here on Wednesday.
Other representatives of various political personalities and social organistaions will also call upon the PM to highlight certain issues of public importance apart from discussing the overall situation in the state.
