SRINAGAR – Chairman JKLF Mohammad Yasin Malik and others were today arrested while going towards Doda Kistwar for distribution of relief among the victims of earthquake. Besides Yasin Malik other leaders who have been taken into custody included advocate Bashir Ahmad Bhat, Noor Mohammad Kalwal, Showkat Bakhshi, sheikh Abdul Rashid, Imtiyaz Ahmad Bitta, Mohammad Sideeq Shah, Bashir kashmiri, Prof. Javed, Giyas ud din, Mohammed Haneef, Zahoor Ahmad, Shahid Makaya and others.
Front caravan early morning today left for Doda and when it reached near Sangam bridge was stopped by a large contingent of police and other forces. Police had laid down a siege on the road and stopped the caravan. Police arrested Yasin sahib and others and the arrested have been lodged at Awantipora police station. Police had earlier on 29th of June 2013 arrested Yasin sahib and others in Doda when they had reached there for the distribution of relief among the victims of earthquake. JKLF said in a statement . The Spokesman of JKLF while condemning this arrest said that once again stopping JKLF from reaching to their effected brethren in Doda, Bhelasa, Baderwah and Kishtwar etc and providing them relief from Kashmiris, has exposed all the tall claims of democracy by India and its Kashmiri puppets.
This act of state terrorism also shows that public Jalsas and Jaloos apart, there is a blanket ban on social work, providing relief to victims of natural catastrophes and uttering a word of truth even. Spokesman said that today people of Doda, Kishtwar, Bhalesa,Baderwah etc are suffering from a natural catastrophe and no one among the rulers has reached to their rescue and provided them any relief .every one is issuing mere statements and when people of kashmir through JKLF tried to reach to these victims, rulers instead of facilitating this relief work have twice stopped and arrested Yasin sahib and others and stopped them from doing this noble work. This stopping and putting hurdles in social work shows the level of frustration and intolerance of Indian state and its kashmiri puppets, added spokesman. He said that rulers on daily basis issue statements and show concern over educated youth joining militancy. These rulers dont see what they are and have done in Kashmir .how they are putting barriers on peaceful political activities, how they have been treating the peaceful youth during 2008, 2009, 2010 etc. how these rulers while safeguarding their interests have and are choking every space to kashmiris. He said that this Jangal Raaj of so- called democrats is responsible for this new situation. Spokes person said that this is nothing but hypocrisy of rulers and today by arresting JKLF leaders and stopping them from reaching out to Doda victims only strengthens the argument that Kashmir is only having rulers who only believe in state sponsored terrorism and Jangal Raaj. Who know no morality and human behavior? Spokesman said that even in wars and active military conflicts relief and social work is not banned or barred but today India and its puppets has violated this normal human law also. Spokesperson said that this attitude of rulers cannot be termed but as Jungle Raaj and this clearly shows the ignorance of so called rulers shows that their only job is to politicize even the humanitarian issues like in Doda to strengthen the illegal occupation of Jammu Kashmir. The spokesman added.
