SRINAGAR – Calling the demsie of noted journalist and former Executive Editor of daily Greater Kashmir and Kashmir Observer, Abdur Rashid Shahida loss to the Kashmiri nation, Democratic Freedom Party chairman, Shabir Ahmad Shah Monday said the late journalist was an great asset, who would always act as a source of inspiration.
Meanwhile, chairman of JKPFL Muhammad Farooq Rehmani has also paid glowing tributes to Mr. Shahid on his demise. Terming it a great loss to the journalistic fraternity Rehmani said the veteran journalist would be remembered for his professional acumen & dedication. He strictly followed the principles of journalism throughout his life& never succumbed to any pressure &played a great role in bringing reforms to society & would always speak for those who had no public say. Rehmani prayed for the departed soul and extended his condolences and sympathies with the bereaved family.
