Srinagar, June 10: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Monday said his government was employee-friendly which was eager to address their problems.
A deputation of Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) led by its President, Ajaz Ahmad Khan discussed various matters relating to the welfare of employees with the Chief Minister and sought his intervention in getting their issues redressed at the earliest.
During the meeting, Khan appealed the CM to regularise all the daily-wagers working in PHE, CAPD and other departments. He also appealed the CM to have a compassionate look at the demands of National Youth Corpus (NYC) volunteers.
Omar Abdullah told EJAC deputation that his government had always been employee-friendly.
