SRINAGAR – Two CRPF personnel, including an officer, were killed and six others injured when their vehicle turned turtle in Baramulla district of north Kashmir, police said on Saturday.
The CRPF vehicle turned turtle at Watlab, 60kms from Srinagar, around midnight resulting into the death of two personnel belonging to 177th battalion – inspector Yoginder Singh and constable Pervaiz Ahmad, a police spokesman said.
He said six other jawans travelling in the vehicle were injured in the accident and admitted to a hospital.
The CRPF vehicle was on its way to a camp in Sopore township when the accident took place, the spokesman said.
