JAMMU: The Jammu region continued to battle extreme heat wave conditions, with the winter capital recording the season’s highest temperature of 45.8 degrees Celsius today, seven notches above normal.
The minimum temperature in Jammu was recorded at 26.3 degrees Celsius, Met officials said.
Mercury settled above normal in Srinagar also, and it was recorded at 31.6 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature in the city stood at 14 degrees Celsius.
