SRINAGAR: Harping on the Atoot Ang theory and rejecting any dialogue on Kashmir issue with Pakistan, Janata Party president Subramanian Swamy Wednesday said that the India should wage war on Pakistan but never compromise on Kashmir issue.
Let me make it clear that dialogue with Pakistan cannot resolve Kashmir issue. There should be no talks with Pakistan on Kashmir, Swamy told reporters while addressing a press conference here
Those who demand plebiscite should go and ask Jawaharlal Lal Nehru about it. Pakistan Occupied Kashmir is also part of India and well attain it at any cost. Were ready to fight a war on Kashmir issue, said Swamy.
Militants can go to any extent to spread violence in Valley but they should understand that India will never leave Kashmir. Pakistan is in wrong notion that Kashmir is disputed territory. Let me tell them that Kashmir is inseparable part of India and if they dont understand this fact then they should be ready for war, he said.
Swamy who is here for the National Council meeting of Janta Party, said the only issue on Kashmir was to get back the part of the state which was under the occupation of Pakistan.
In reply to a question, Swamy said, The BJP-led NDA will come to power in the next Lok Sabah elections due next year as the ruling UPA has been a total failure. Congress is the party of liars and now the people of India want change.
Swamy also said, With China we have a dispute regarding Actual Line of Control (ALOC) only and we can sort the matter through dialogue with them. But as far as Pakistan is concerned there will be no dialogue. Pakistan should leave Kashmirs part which they have occupied otherwise the result will be very harmful for them, he warned.
Asked that BJP also had once accepted Kashmir a dispute, he said, In this regard my suggestion to BJP is that they should reconsider this type of thinking and should know that Kashmir is integral part of India. (KNS)
