KUPWARA: Arrangements for celebrations of Urs Sharief at Muqam-e-Shahwali Drugmulla commencing from May 24 to 26, 2013 were finalized in a meeting of officers and engineers was convened by the Deputy Commissioner, Kupwara, Mr. Itrat Hussain Rafique here today.
The Consumer Affairs and & Public Distribution, Fire & Emergency Services, Police, PHE, Revenue, Health, PDD and Municipal authorities were directed to make elaborate arrangements at Ziyarat during the Urs days. Threadbare discussions were held for ensuring availability of drinking water, power and medicare facilities in the area during Urs days besides cleanliness in and around the Ziyarat Sharief.
The Executive Officer, Municipal Committee, Kupwara was directed to make proper sanitation in and around the Ziyarat Sharief round the clock.
The representatives of the Muslim Waqaf Board and administration were also present in the meeting.
